British fintech giant Revolut is aiming for a massive valuation of $150 billion to $200 billion for its highly anticipated initial public offering (IPO), according to investor sources cited in a report by the Financial Times on Tuesday.

Revolut’s Skyrocketing Valuation and IPO Timeline

The digital banking powerhouse, which recently secured its full United Kingdom banking license after years of regulatory hurdles, was valued at $75 billion during its latest secondary share sale. This figure represents a significant jump from its $45 billion valuation in 2024, positioning the company as one of the most valuable private tech enterprises in Europe.

While anticipation for the public debut builds, investors will need to wait. Revolut’s co-founder and CEO, Nik Storonsky, recently indicated that the company’s IPO is still at least “two years away,” as reported by Bloomberg.

The Path to a $100 Billion Secondary Sale

Before hitting the public markets, the neobank is reportedly planning another major liquidity event. According to data from PitchBook and the Financial Times, Revolut is currently structuring a secondary share sale scheduled for the second half of 2026, which is expected to value the company at more than $100 billion.

Impressive Financial Growth and Global Expansion

Revolut’s ambitious valuation targets are backed by stellar financial performance. As of November 2025, the company had secured a total of $5.89 billion in funding, according to data from PitchBook. Furthermore, Revolut reported record-breaking revenue of $6 billion for the financial year ending December 31, 2025, marking a substantial increase from the $4 billion generated in 2024.

This revenue surge directly boosted the company’s bottom line, with net profits climbing to $1.7 billion in 2025, up from $1 billion the previous year. By the end of 2025, the digital bank’s retail customer base had expanded to an impressive 68.3 million users. Revolut declined to comment on these figures or its future valuation targets.

Expanding the Global Banking Footprint

Established in 2015, Revolut has evolved from a simple travel card into a comprehensive financial super-app. Its ecosystem now includes multi-currency accounts, peer-to-peer payments, international transfers, cryptocurrency trading, insurance, and investment products. To fuel its aggressive global growth, the company has reinvested heavily in international expansion, which includes applying for a banking license in the United States.

Beyond its home market in the UK, Revolut already holds a banking license in the European Union and maintains active operations in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil, and the US. The fintech giant also launched its services in India last October, is preparing to debut in Colombia later this year, and has successfully secured a banking license in Mexico.
