X Teams Up With Polymarket for Live Crypto Betting Data

Social media giant X (formerly Twitter) announced on Friday a strategic partnership designating Polymarket as its official prediction market partner to integrate real-time, crypto-powered betting data directly into the social network.

Grok and X Data Meet Polymarket Insights

While the financial specifics of the deal remain undisclosed, the two companies confirmed they are developing an integrated product designed to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations. According to a Polymarket press release, this new tool will combine live platform data from X with Polymarket predictions, featuring real-time market annotations powered by xAI’s Grok alongside relevant user posts.

This upcoming feature represents the debut release in what both companies describe as a planned suite of integrations and unique experiences designed to merge social conversation with decentralized forecasting.

A New Era for Real-Time News Analysis

Shayne Coplan, founder and CEO of Polymarket, emphasized the value of merging these two data sources. Coplan stated that combining Polymarket’s unbiased, real-time prediction probabilities with Grok’s analysis and X’s live feed will allow them to deliver contextualized, data-driven insights to millions of global users instantly. He added that the collaboration aims to help users make rapid sense of breaking news and highly informed decisions about future events as the platform continues to scale.

The partnership arrives amid explosive growth for the decentralized betting platform. In 2024 alone, users placed over $8 billion in predictions on Polymarket, wagering on everything from global politics and current events to pop culture trends.

Polymarket’s Expanding Web Integration

This alliance with X is part of a broader expansion strategy for Polymarket. Nearly a year ago, the platform partnered with AI-powered search engine Perplexity to display automated news summaries of events. Shortly after, Polymarket partnered with Substack, allowing independent writers to embed live prediction data tables directly into their newsletters.
