FTX Sues Scaramucci and FWD.us to Recover Siphoned Funds
The FTX bankruptcy estate has launched legal action against SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci and political advocacy group FWD.us to claw back millions of dollars allegedly funneled to them before the crypto exchange’s collapse.
Allegations of Reputation Boosting at Creditors’ Expense
According to the court filings, payments made by FTX’s sister hedge fund, Alameda Research, to FWD.us were part of a highly coordinated effort. The lawsuit alleges these transfers were “part of an integrated plan by the FTX Insiders to siphon money from FTX Group creditors and enhance their own personal reputations at the expense of creditors.”
Defendants Remain Silent on Litigation
SkyBridge Capital and FWD.us did not immediately respond to requests for comment regarding the newly filed legal complaints.
