Ramp Valuation Skyrockets to $22.5B in 45 Days
Fintech unicorn Ramp secured a massive $500 million funding round on Wednesday, skyrocketing its post-money valuation to $22.5 billion just 45 days after its last major raise, co-founder and CEO Eric Glyman announced.
Rapid Valuation Growth and Key Investors
This latest capital injection, led by Iconiq Growth with active participation from Founders Fund and D1 Capital Partners, highlights an extraordinary trajectory. It comes only 45 days after Ramp closed a $200 million round at a $16 billion valuation in June, which itself was a significant jump from the $13 billion valuation the company reported back in March.
The Road to Autonomous Finance by 2028
In his announcement, Glyman detailed a strategic roadmap focused on AI-driven “autonomous finance,” which he expects to become the industry standard by 2028. To accelerate this transition, the expense management platform has already rolled out its first agent, with plans to deploy additional specialized agents in the near future.
Strong Financial Performance and Customer Scale
With this latest round, Ramp has raised a cumulative total of $1.9 billion. The company reached a cash-flow positive state earlier this year. Additionally, Glyman previously disclosed that Ramp achieved an annualized revenue of $700 million as of March, and the platform currently serves a growing customer base of over 40,000 businesses.
